Description: Docking , undocking, berthing , unberthing and maneuvering ships as per the work instructions in order to meet clients and yards requirement to timely deliver projects.

Changes ropes on crane derricks, davits and accommodation ladders on board test and including defection test ,

Test lifting gear appliances on board.

Proof test, destruction of lifting gear and other appliances including anchor chain calibration

Bollard pull test , winch break test and pull test.

Assist dock & undock , berth & unberth of all types of vessels.

Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.

Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head. 

Skills:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in slinging and rigging field. 

Familiar with lifting equipment and SWL (safe work load)

Knowledge in English language.
